| Description | The Dongfeng-3 (DF-3) is a Chinese intermediate-range ballistic missile (IRBM) developed in the 1960s. This liquid-fueled, single-stage missile has a range of approximately 2,500-3,000 kilometers, enabling it to reach targets across a significant portion of Asia. The DF-3 played a crucial role in enhancing China’s strategic capabilities, providing it with the ability to project power over greater distances. An improved variant, the DF-3A, was later developed with an extended range and improved accuracy. |
