Description The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) of India successfully developed the Pralay missile, a canisterised surface-to-surface short-range ballistic missile (SRBM) for battlefield use. It is designed to deliver both conventional and nuclear warheads with high precision. Pralay is a single-stage solid propellant missile with a range of 150-500 km. It can be launched from multiple platforms, including road and rail mobile launchers. The missile is equipped with advanced navigation and guidance systems, making it highly accurate. Pralay is a significant addition to India’s arsenal of tactical ballistic missiles. It will provide the Indian Armed Forces with a much-needed capability to strike targets deep inside enemy territory with precision.
